I just loved your piece on encouragement from a stranger. I've had some evangelistical expeditions myself especially when I travel by plane. I've used the same sneaky tactics as you. I am a Life Purpose Coach and on my last flight I was reading a coaching book and as the passenger next to me took note of it, it opened a whole world of business opportunities. One time I was sitting down and I saw this lady coming down the isle but she was fuming. She was from the UK, had suffered various delayed flights, was missing her family, was tired. She had this huge bag that she tried to fit in the overhead compartment and she just lost it. So calmly, I just got up and stored it for her. As she sat down I just had this relaxing conversation with her. Before we landed in Durban she turned to the lady on the other side of her and said: 'I feel so calm right now, this lady has been so incedibly kind to me. She rescued my day'. When I heard her I thought to myself, no lady, you've made my day. There's something about being kind to another person, it sort of restores your hope in all of mankind and it puts a smile on your dial. Plus I had an opportunity to share Jesus Christ with her. Does your day get any better than this?
